HELLOOOOOOO? (I'm back with events, seminars and entries!)

So, I disappeared for a week. Sorry about that. I thought I had an additional post ready to self launch. My mistake. So what has kept me so busy that I have vanished in this manner and not even double checked? Painting. HOT DIGGIDY DANG!!!
Golden Demons/Games Day Chicago are only a short couple weeks away and I have been working my proverbial butt off trying to get some entires finished. I will be putting up some in progress shots as I have the opportunity though I have been really swamped between actually working on them and taking care of my family life.

I will be a guest at Games Day again this year in the area called the "Golden Demon Lounge".  This is an amazing gathering of some of the best painters in the world brought together to give tips, share techniques and give critiques. I will be teaching some weathering techniques similar to the ones I used on my Warmachine models. In fact my Rhulic force will be on display in the cabinet as we painters are allowed to show off  any of our models and not just the GW ones (though I will also be displaying some of my award winning Beastmen as well). I will be showing techniques using a comination of materials including brush techniques with GW paints, salt masks, forgeworld pigments, and AK interactive enamel weathering solutions. Here is the blurb and schedule for the lounge from the GW site:

The Golden Demon Lounge

Stop by the Demon Lounge and learn from the best! The Lounge will be hosted by past Golden Demon winners whose experience combined has produced a total of 117 Golden Demons & 12 Slayer Swords! They are available to do painting/modeling demonstrations and answer questions to all that stop by. There will also be many beautiful miniatures on display so be sure to stop by the Demon Lounge!
Below are the classes available on the day. Feel free to stroll up at the appointed times for specific lessons or just come and hang out to talk about the finer points of painting toy soldiers!
9:00AM - 10:00AM
Open Lounge: Here is your chance to show off your 2011 Golden Demon entries before they go in the display cases. Stop by the Demon Lounge before you enter to discuss your entries and get feedback from fellow painters. Several previous Golden Demon and Slayer sword winners will be on hand if you would like an expert's critique.

Me and some of the crew you could meet at Games Day!
