Holy Moly!
I looked at my view count today and realized I am likely to cross the half million mark in the next couple days!
This calls for a small Contest and Prizes!!!!!
So I'm going to make it simple. Comment on this post on my blog (if you are reading this on facebook you will need to click the link to my actual blog). Please tell me one thing you would like to see (or see more of) in the next year on Lost In The Warp!
Thats it :)
Some time next week I will pick comments at random (probably using a number generator). I will then contact those people and send them a lovely little surprise from my shelves of mini stuff! I don't know how many prizes or what yet but I'm sure I can dig up some fun and random things :)
Thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to follow my little corner of the miniverse! Be good to each other!
The first picture I ever posted on this blog - not sure what I was thinking but it sure looks like fun! |

I would like to see more how tos and more insights into why we do things in mini painting
Maybe some bat reps and respective view of what you could have done different
Congrats! Hows about some quick and dirty tricks to get those armies to the table top faster? That would be a good series of posts :)
More of what you're already doing!
More of the same!
More conversions and tutorials please! And congratulations on the milestone!
I've always liked breakdowns of the Boogeymen at the time and steps that can be taken to not get top of 2'd by them.
I always enjoy seeing more painting tutorials. Everyone has their own style and method.
I'd like to see more tutorials and batreps
Congratulations! More painting tutorials are always welcome, and heck more tutorials in general!
Congrats on the number of hits.
Would like to see more battle reports
I'm going to give you more than one suggestion and risk being disqualified for it.
1) How about some retrospectives - revisiting some of your posts from the last 12 years and if there's something you do differently now or some trick you learned that makes the technique easier?
2) Product reviews, ideally things that are new to you as well. I would think companies would be willing to send you things to try out in exchange for reviews. Getting feedback from an experienced painter like yourself is much more likely to affect whether I go out and try something new, so everyone wins. (Well, except crappy products, but don't feel bad for them!).
3)Tutorials are always welcome, especially if they're techniques that you have a different take on. Maybe a technique you tried previously and couldn't get to work might be worth revisiting?
4) Maybe a "Ask James a Painting/Modelling Question?" You'd need to be brutally selective for your own sanity but you might get some interesting topics out of it.
Congrats on the accomplishment, btw.
There us a serious lack of good written content for mini wargames right now. Some strategic breakdowns of popular casters would be great!
Congrats!
If I win, I just want the judge fairy to send me a judge for the Model Show I am running. And my Lamenters Standard with the greenstuff done.
I was into table top games years ago and having you in the family has really peaked my interest in it over the past few years and im stoked jack is getting into it too
Work in progress pictures of projects! I love seeing the 'behind the scenes' story.
Congrats Buddy.... Great Milestone
Wow, that's an impressive milestone for sure congratulations : )
Would love to see more of your gaming experience. I only got to see BloodBowl in person but how about a gaming report.
