The Lost Forums

http://www.thelostforums.net/

The Lost is a game club focused on the miniatures hobby based out of Trenton, ON. Dedicated to great sportsmanship and a fun gaming experience, The Lost organize gaming events that cater to everyone from the uninitiated beginners to the expert hobbyists of all ages! The club promotes all aspects of the hobby from rules and fair play to painting, terrain, sculpting and conversion... and above all else, we are a community of friends!

We continue to work hard to be one of Canada's premiere gaming communities. Our Club is Officially run by myself (James Craig AKA Tkkultist), Erik "Swordwind" Hildebrandt, Nic "Enrique Papato" Drake, Clint "Blixs" (our resident Warmachine expert) and Chris "Highlord" Lilly. Other notable members include Dan "Dagger" who runs our historical gaming community forum (and is an incredible resource),Wraith who runs Battletech games locally and Frank "Stonecutter" who is our WFB guru. Beyond that we have a great and diverse group of generally really nice people and dedicated gamers whose addresses stretch from Toronto and Cobourg to Kingston and Ottawa. So drop by the forum to say hi, ask questions and generally pick the brains of some of the best gamers in Canada!

History

This group originally started in the United States as Adeptus Basementus, and is currently headed up by Ryan Powell (aka Kenshin). It does/has included such notable members as multi Golden Demon winners Terry Peterson, Joe Orteza and Mike Butcher. I (James K. Craig) was the moderator and head of the Canadian Chapter of the Adeptus Basementus Gaming club, and now continue to serve in that role after the club was renamed The Lost.

I believe strongly in this community for its sharing of resources and support. As such I hope to really help by making The Lost thrive as one of the premiere Canadian Gaming Organizations. At this point we have been active for nearly 10 years and have participated in running events for multiple games days and 2 national conflict events as well as numerous smaller tournaments and events of local interest.

Keep an eye to this space to see what we will be up to next!

The Lost Forums

In 2006 we launched a forum site at thelostforums.net to facilitate communication between our members, who now spread across southern and eastern Ontario - and beyond! Check out the forums if you're interested!
